Francesca (she/her) is a versatile performer with professional stage experience and classical training in voice and violin. She recently graduated from Stanford University with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. She is currently based in her hometown of Minneapolis, MN.
As an actor, Francesca made her professional debut at age 9 at the Guthrie Theater. Most recently, she starred in Jiehae Park's peerless at Theater Mu and as Christine in a sold-out run of The Phantom of the Opera at Stanford University. As a classical soprano, she has been awarded 1st place at various regional vocal competitions in Minnesota and California and sang the title role in The Ballad of Baby Doe at Stanford.
As a violinist, Francesca served as concertmaster of both the Stanford Symphony and Philharmonia Orchestras. She can be heard on an episode of NPR's From the Top with the Stanford Symphony Orchestra.
A devoted advocate of diversity in the arts, Francesca served on the board of the Stanford Asian American Theater Project, which was founded in 1978 by David Henry Hwang.
Francesca frequently collaborates her with older sister/best friend/role model, Isabella (www.isabelladawis.com).
